We have had a busy and fun filled week at Salol, MN. Paul and Doddie Bunz with their three kids, Shawn and Janet with thier three and Joy and Sam with their two spent a few days with us. It was noisy and busy and a good time was had by all.

Why, oh why, do we bother to buy expensive toys for kids?! The favorite plaything, by far, was a set of four tires that the kids had a blast rolling all over the yard. Including rolling over my poor peonies! And they were just starting to bloom well! Ah, well. Maybe the roots will just grow stronger this way!

On July 13th we will be celebrating my dad, Arvid Gravdahl's, 93rd birthday! Most of us will be here at the farm ( by the way, Dad was born here on this farm) as well as several of Dad's nieces and nephews and a bunch of grandkids and great grandkids, maybe even a great, great grandchild. It will be a great time for all of us!
